Fedor Vasilevich Antonov. Born in Tmbov 1904. Studied at art school, Tambov, 1916-21; Moscow VKHUTEMAS/VKHUTEIN (textiles) 1922-29. Active in Moscow. Began exhibiting in 1927? Member of IZOBRIGADA 1931-32; RAPKH.

Specialised in sentimental thematic pictures 1930's and 1940's. Well-known works include Love (1933 w.u.). Taught at MIPIDI 1948-51; Moscow Textile Institute from 1953. Created "Windows of TASS" 1941-5. Also a monumentalist, textile designer 1920's-30's. Died in Moscow 1990's.
